New iPhone 12 delayed, but new Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 goes according to plan.

International Vice President and managing Director of Xiaomi in India, Manu Kumar Jain, shared information that almost all xiaomi and Redmi smartphones that are manufactured in India are assembled by women.

Foxconn has a factory for the production of Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones with an area of more than 120 thousand square meters in  which employs 15,000 people. Of these, about 90% are women. It is worth adding that 99% of Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones sold in India are assembled in this country.
Manu Kumar Jain added that the total number of employees who are engaged in the production of xiaomi and Redmi smartphones in India is almost 30 thousand people. Women make up 95% of the state, which is part of the company’s policy aimed at improving women’s labor rights. At the moment, the factories produce smartphones of the Redmi Note 9, which will be presented on March 12.
