For months I worked on creating a completely different type of wallpaper — one inspired by the beautiful satellite night view of Apple Maps and Google Maps. Instead of using ordinary landscapes or abstract colors, I wanted every wallpaper to feel like looking at an entire country from space after sunset.

The illuminated highways.
The coastlines fading into darkness.
The recognizable shape of every nation.
Combined with subtle national colors and elegant typography, the result feels less like a wallpaper and more like digital artwork.
